Mood- Friday Night Knits… I’m trying to get the blogspot set up… we will see??

WIP – The “double knit” hat I finally got the hang of it. Some mistakes…I call them design details. I finished the 5 hour babysweater. Will post a picture. I need to block. I’m going to try and steam with my little hand steamer. My small car project is a infant baby hat. I’m on row 10. I’m working at the “Yarn Expo” on Sunday for a few hours. Maybe I’ll get to see Lilly Chin.

What I’m Doing - Hopefully off to knitting. I’ve been working on my blog. Still trying to get things set up with my sidebar. Look I even posted a U-Tube video on knitting. I was really excited about being on someones blog-roll but I went there today and boo hoo she took me off. I’m to shy to ask why. I met the lady… really nice … she showed me her’s and added me on the spot. Oh well.. at least the “knitting grounds” is still up on her site. I will leave her on "My Fav's".

What Audio Books I’m Listen To - Still listening to another J.A. Jance novel “Web of Evil”. Read by Karen Ziemba. I’ve been listening to “Miss Julia Strikes Again”. Very funny and a good listen.

I'm a big Karen Ziemba fan and I've enjoyed several of her performances on audio books. Hope you are enjoying Web of Evil. I believe Karen Ziemba has recorded another J. A. Jance novel that will be on sale in a few months. Have you listened to other Jance novels on audio? Any recommendations?

Thanks for you comment! I just started listening to J.A. Jance. She's a great writer. I've listened to one other. "Dead Wrong". It was read by Debra Monk.
Very good. About Sheriff Joanna Brady. I really enjoy listen to Karen Ziemba voice. I like to knit and listen! What other author do you listen to?
Enjoy
Linda

The only other Jance novel I've listened to on audio was "Dead Wrong" as well! Because it was read by Debra Monk! (I love both actresses and saw them in the musical CURTAINS on Broadway.) Not many authors that I listen to consistently. Lately I've been looking for performers that I really enjoy. I think I've listened to five or six read by Karen Ziemba so far. I just started a new one this morning (by Jude Devereaux).

Another reader is Dick Hill. He reads Micheal Connelly's books. How about the reader Lorelli King. She reads Jane Evanovich's books. I think the reader is what will make or break a book. Have you ever read any Diane Gabeldon books. Her last one "A breathe of Snow and Ashes" ws read by Davina Porter an excellent reader. Right now I'm listening to "Love in the Past Tense". It has 3 readers which I find distracting most of the time but for this book it's great. Have a great weekend.
Do you knit?

First - I checked and I haven't listened to "Dead Wrong" - it was "Exit Wounds" by J.A. Jance, read by Debra Monk. It looks like she read a few books from the Joanna Brady series. I enjoyed that one. I haven't read or listened to any of Michael Connelly's books. I should since I know so many people who love to read him. I haven't read any of Evanovich's books either. I started reading the Sue Grafton novels (last one finished was "E is for Evidence"). I've been meaning to try the audio books because many of them are read by Judy Kaye, a terrific Broadway actress. I'm currently listening to a Jude Devereaux book "The Mulberry Tree" read by Karen Ziemba. I'm about a quarter of the way through and I love it. I just enjoy her voice and the voices she comes up with for her characters.

As for knitting - I've learned, but I've forgotten how to do it and I just don't enjoy it the way other people do. I was pretty good though - I made a scarf for a friend and it was fairly even and not weirdly shaped. I had grand plans of knitting a sweater for my niece (she is turning 1 year old) but that hasn't been happening. Actually, I think I'll just take a stab at knitting a sweater for her when she's an adult. The sad thing about baby clothes is the brief period of time that they wear them!!!
