What’s up - We’ll l’m busy at work getting ready for our annual tackle show.

WIP – The “5 Hour babysweater” is done…woooow. And it only took about…30 hours give or take. I am going to post a picture this week. My umbillical cord hat (small project for the car) is almost done. I just wish my double knit hat would come together. I think I have frogged or tink’d at least 3 times. EZ babysweater is not as EZy as EZ makes it. I have had to refer to the video several times. Oh well. I need to finish it and start a something new. I still think Baby sweaters are a waste of knitting. They grow to fast. (The babies) The continental method is still on the back burner. Oh yeah the orphan slipper is still an orCheck Spellingphan.

What I’m Doing - My husband and I are having an over-nighter with our grandson tonight. I still get to go knitting. I updated our webpage the other day. If you have a chance go and see!

What Audio Books I’m Listen To – I finished “Love in the Present Tense” by Catherine Hyde. This book is so very good. I recommend it. 5********. I’m listening to “The Burnt House” by Fay Kellerman – read by George Guidall. I like it so far. And on my night stand is”Lovely Bones” by Alice Sebold.

Here's the orphan
slipper for my DH
that I've been
working on.
Here's the "Surprise Baby Sweater" by EZ. I don't know.. I just want to knit a baby sweater for a boy. Baby's grown out of these things so fast it's hardly worth it. I think I'm going back to baby booties and hats. What do you think?

What’s up - I’m sore and I mean I can hardly move. I haven’t been to Curves in 10 days. I didn’t think it would hit me this hard. I think my spine hurts the worse. I even had a hot tub when I got home.

WIP – I blocked the “5 Hour baby sweater”.. now I need to find some buttons. My small car project is coming along. It recommends that I knit stitch/stitch for 5”. We’ll see. The EZ baby sweater is coming along. I’m trying the continental method but I don’t like how loose my stitches are. My LYS had a big sale this week and I got some yarn.

What I’m Doing - I sat at the Knitters of the North table for a few hours on Sunday during the yarn Expo. It was fun visiting with everyone from different fiber guilds. And we had a few people interested in joining. I heard from a local teacher that the classes weren’t well attended. I wonder why more people didn’t sign up. I personally had other obligations. We did talk to a member of our guild who does lovely lace. She had left a few samples for people to look at. We we’re asked to bring samples of our projects. Anyway when she came to pick up her lace items we got to talking and she is willing to teach a Saturday Seminar on lace. That would be awesome.

What Audio Books I’m Listen To - I’m done with the “Web of Evil” and “Miss Julia Strikes Again”. They were both 4 stars. J.A. Jance will definitely be on my “Looking for List”. Right now I’m listening to “The Burnt House” by Faye Kellerman RB George Guidall. I love the way George reads a book. In the car I’m listening to “Love in the Past Tense” by Catherine Hyde. This book has three readers. One for each character. It’s like a journal of a very poor young man whose mom disappears and a bachelor takes him in. Heart wrenching. Very well written. I will be looking for more of her books too.

Weather : Well winter, and snow are just around the corner. The snow on the mountains behind us is coming down fast. I guess it snowed in Fairbanks this week. I’m not looking forward to the cold weather.
Tonight: Overcast with rain showers at times. Low near 35F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 40%.
Tomorrow: Rain showers in the morning becoming more intermittent in the afternoon. High 44F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy skies. Low 31F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday: Partly cloudy skies. High near 40F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.
